How commercial relationships affect recommendations
They do not add suitability points. Affiliate status, commission opportunity, exact-link availability and retailer participation are excluded from recommendation scoring.
Amazon Australia
Australian Product Guide's current Amazon Associates tracking tag is auproductguid-22. Exact individual Amazon Australia product links are used only after product/model identity is independently verified. Otherwise Australian Product Guide retains a model-specific Amazon search fallback rather than guessing an ASIN.
Affiliate click-outs
Affiliate URLs contain attribution information. Once a shopper leaves Australian Product Guide, the third party controls its service, cookies, account information, checkout and privacy practices. Australian Product Guide does not receive a copy of a shopper's checkout details merely because an affiliate link was used.
Amazon product imagery
Amazon Product Advertising Content can be made available through supported Associates tools subject to programme terms. PA-API has been deprecated; Australian Product Guide's planned supported product-data route is Amazon Creators API. No Amazon product photograph is displayed until eligible API access and secure credentials are available and the image is returned for the exact matching product identifier.
Future retailers
The data model supports multiple retailers. Technical readiness does not mean Australian Product Guide has applied to, been approved by or activated another commercial programme. New commercial relationships remain approval-gated.
